Vandalism was reported at City Hall, 221 E. Clark St., on Wednesday morning. Albert Lea Police Chief Dwaine Winkels said the vandalism involved juveniles starting a fire in the wastebasket of a bathroom. A few days prior the juveniles reportedly tried to break into the coffee kiosk on the first floor.

Injury crash reported

A truck versus motorcycle injury crash was reported on Freeborn County Road 45 south of Geneva at 12:39 p.m. Wednesday, according to reports. The initial call stated the motorcycle driver had a possible broken foot. No other information was available as of press time.
