Bernice T. Peterson, 102, of Lake Mills, Iowa, died Friday, Aug. 26, 2011, at the Lake Mills Care Center. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Salem Lutheran Church in Lake Mills. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.

Alice Stencel
Alice Johanna Stencel, 87, of Minnesota Lake, died Saturday, Aug. 27, 2011. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Minnesota Lake. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. today at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells, with a Rosary at 5 p.m. and visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.

Cynthia “Cindy” Louise Bruegger, 52, of Minnesota Lake, died Friday, Aug. 26, 2011, at her home. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, in Minnesota Lake Township. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at St. Paul’s UCC, and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Albert Lea Hospice, American Red Cross Armed Services Unit or to St. Paul’s United Church of Christ.
