An End-of-Summer Music Recital by students of Sharon L. Astrup-Scott was presented Thursday, Aug. 18, at the First Presbyterian Church of Albert Lea. Pictured is cellist Kristen Hahn with her teacher, Astrup-Scott. Piano, voice, violin, viola and cello students performed many American and European pieces of music. A reception followed the recital.
The Hallelujah Senior Saints meet the second Tuesday of each month at the Assemblies of God Chruch in Albert Lea. They have been in existence for 15 years and welcome new members. For the August meeting Charles Stephens, tenor, of Albert Lea, presented a vocal music concert consisting of sacred, folk, patriotic and classical repertoire. Sharon L. Astrup-Scott was the accompanist and teacher for Stephens.
