APPLE VALLEY — A 21-year-old man is charged with setting fire to an Apple Valley home where former Minnesota Viking Dave Osborn, his wife and four others were sleeping.

Osborn, his wife Beverly, their granddaughter and three other teenage girls got out safely. But the top half of the three-story house burned away.

Aaron Ferrarese is charged with first- and second-degree arson in the early Friday fire. The complaint says he told police he wanted the Osborns’ 19-year-old grandson “to feel some pain.”
