Free meal offered for veterans, emergency responders

Diamond Jo Casino in Northwood announced Thursday that they will commemorate the 10th anniversary of selfless, heroic service on 9/11.
“What we learned that day about the human spirit and fire, police and ems personnel we will never forget,” said Diamond Jo Casino General Manager Kim Pang. “Individuals everywhere who choose to work as emergency responders are vital to our community and our country. It’s these individuals who are prepared to lead when disaster strikes.”
Diamond Jo Casino is offering a free meal at The Kitchen Buffet for all veterans and safety service personnel on Sept. 11. The Kitchen Buffet is open for brunch from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. and for dinner from 4:30 until 9 p.m. that day. Veterans and emergency responders are asked to present service identification.
