The city of Albert Lea will be closing Front Street at the intersection of Lincoln Avenue on Tuesday for work being completed as part of the sanitary sewer replacement on Lincoln Avenue. The intersection is expected to remain closed until the end of the business on Thursday. Traffic will be detoured to West Main Street during the closure.

Once work in the intersection has been completed, there will be a temporary gravel surface in place at this location for 2 to 3 weeks while utility replacement on Lincoln Avenue is completed. Motorists are urged to slow down, use extra caution and to be aware of additional construction traffic at this location.
