Iris Tarvestad, not pictured, and Jean Pestorious presented checks from Noon Kiwanis to Prinicpal Matt Esterby at Halverson School and Principal Karen Zwolenski at Hawthorne School. The money is to be used as an aid where needed by the schools. Both the schools and Noon Kiwanis are doing the BUG (Bringing Up Grades) program to encourage students to make inprovements on their grades or other challenges they may have. -- Submitted photo
