Thursday was chilly across region

While Albert Lea reached 30 on Thursday morning, many places in southern Minnesota dropped below that.
Faribault, Lakeville, Madison, Morris and Waseca recorded temperatures of 28 that morning, and Glencoe hit 29.
This cold snap came during the same week when, on Monday, Minneapolis recorded a high of 90 degreees. On Thursday, Minneapolis woke up to 36 degrees.
Temperatures on Thursday morning in northern Minnesota ranged from 35 at Grand Marais to 20 at International Falls.
