Veterans of World War II, Korea and Vietnam and their spouses gather around 91-year-old World War II Women’s Airforce Service Pilot Liz Strofus, of Faribault, the last living WASP in this seven-state region, at Veteran Heritage Day 2011 in St. Ansgar, Iowa. Next to Liz is WWII and Korean War maintenance mechanic, Bob Jacot, with a walker, of St. Ansgar, and Richard Tuthill, in a wheelchair, of St. Angsar, who saved many lives during the Korean War as a medic.
