The Wa-Tan-Ye service club meeting was called to order by President Dorothy Wedge. Roll was taken and there were seven members present. JoAnn Holstad read the secretary’s report, which was approved and placed on file.

The annual convention will be held on Oct. 7, 8 and 9 at Cresco, Iowa. Wedge will be the delegate, and Holstad will be the alternate. The group will furnish an item for the auction. Each group member will bring a gift for the door prizes.

The group discussed the number of directors and voted to change the number from four to two. Each year the group will elect one new director. Annual reports are due at the next meeting. Also the association dues are due at the next meeting.

The group gave $25 to the food shelf. The next meeting will be on Oct. 3.
