First District Congressman Tim Walz announced Thursday he will host a grocery store stop on Tuesday in Austin.

The stop will be at Hy-Vee, 1001 18th Ave. NW, from 11:30 to 1 p.m.

“Hearing the thoughts and ideas of southern Minnesotans is the cornerstone of our representative democracy,” Walz said. “I am looking forward to the opportunity to hear from folks.”

Walz has several additional Congress on Your Corner Stops planned this fall. Details will be announced at a later date.
