Conger 4-H Club

The Conger 4-H Club met on Sunday, Oct. 9, at the Alden-Conger School. The group had elections for the new 4-H year. New officers are President Matt Erickson, Vice President Lorna Riemer, Secretary Morgan Grunzke, Treasurer Malory Mattson, Reporter Brett Neel, Historian Sydney Chicos, and Recreation Leader Toni Chicos. The group voted to raise club dues to $10 for members who are in third-grade and above. Clover Bud dues will be $5. The group decided to go Christmas caroling at a nursing home in December. There is a new online enrollment process for this 4-H year. A committee sign-up sheet was handed out to all of the families. After the meeting, the group went on a hayride with the Alden 4-H Club.
The next meeting will be the Club Awards Banquet on Sunday, Nov. 13, at 5 p.m., at the Conger Community Center. Families with last names starting with A-M should bring a large main dish for the potluck. Families with last names starting with N-Z should bring a large salad.
