The funeral service for Justin Harold Robertson, of Hayfield, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Bonnerup Funeral Service Chapel, Albert Lea. The Rev. Aaron de Neui will officiate. Interment will be in Lakewood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Bonnerup Funeral Service, Albert Lea and one hour before the service. Military honors will be accorded.
Justin died Sunday Oct. 2, 2011, at St. Marys Hospital, Rochester, from the result of a car accident. He was 29 years old.
Justin was born May 3, 1982, in Albert Lea, to Robert Robertson and Connie Espeland. He graduated from Albert Lea High School in 2001 and then entered the Minnesota National Guard. Justin married Robyn Coller on April 29, 2006, at Kasson. Justin lived in Hayfield.Justin worked for the Hayfield Window and Door Company. He was an Eagle Scout. Justin enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and working on his car. He also liked attending the Big Island Rendezvous. Justin especially enjoyed spending time with his wife, Robyn, and his two sons Jacob and Erik.
Justin is survived by his wife, Robyn Robertson, of Hayfield; two sons: Jacob, age 5, and Erik, age 3 weeks; mother, Connie (Kelley) Hesley, of Albert Lea; father, Robert Robertson, of Dodge Center; brother, Nathan Robertson, of Mankato, and sister, Shawnna Robertson, of Duluth; grandmother, Carol Espeland of Albert Lea; and grandmother, Jean Anderson, of Kasson; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Justin is preceded in death by his grandpa, Arden, and grandpa, Wimpy; great-grandma, Dorothy; cousin, Alex; and special friend, Tony.
