The Wa Tan Ye Service Club met on Oct. 3 at the America’s Best Value Inn for lunch before the meeting.

The meeting was called to order by President Dorothy Wedge. The roll call was taken, and the group had only one member absent. The secretary and treasurer reports were read, approved and placed on file.

The annual reports were given and recommended to be placed on file. The yearly dues were collected.

The nomination committee recommended keeping the officers for another term. The club voted to accept the nominations. They will be installed at the next meeting.

The group signed up for selling dishcloths at the Northbridge Mall Nov. 4 and 5.

Alice Petersen was the hostess. The next meeting will be on Nov. 7.
