Denny and Ruth (Thompson) Swift were married on June 11, 2011, in an outdoor ceremony wedding at their home in rural Brainerd. Matt Hundley, of Albert Lea, officiated the ceremony.

Parents of the couple are the late Claude and Gloria O’Haver, of Tuscon, Ariz., and Pete and Connie Swift, of rural Brainerd.

David Yanko, of Wichita, Kan., was the best man and Jennifer Hulst, of Minneapolis, was the maid of honor and also walked her mother down the aisle.

There was a reception at the newlywed’s home following the ceremony.

The couple went on a honeymoon in September to the Ely and Duluth areas and are now living happily ever after at their rural Brainerd home. Denny is working Pleasureland while Ruth prefers caring for their home, lawn and pets.
