MILWAUKEE — A Harley-Davidson dealership in St. Paul is suing the Milwaukee motorcycle maker over new restrictions on sales of parts and accessories to international customers.

In its lawsuit, the dealership says the restrictions will deprive it of millions of dollars in annual revenue and jeopardize its ability to remain in business. The dealership says it earns $8 million a year from sales that are now forbidden.

The lawsuit says Harley dealers can no longer sell parts and accessories to customers outside the U.S. And, beginning in January, dealers may not sell the parts and accessories on third-party websites, such as eBay.

Harley spokeswoman Maripat Blankenheim said the company disagrees with the premise of the lawsuit. She declined further comment.
