“Identity Theft” was the program topic when NARFE Chapter 469 members met for their regular meeting Oct. 11 at the Austin Pizza Ranch. Presenters Laura Tjomsland and Kathy Wickmann from Thrivent Financial used a number of visuals to point out the many ways that identity theft can occur and how it can be thwarted.

Following their presentation president Jonathon Green called the meeting to order. Those present were provided a national membership list and were asked to make corrections if needed. Green noted that he had attended several meetings that were concerned with senior issues. Although it won’t happen until next May, members were urged to consider being a delegate to the state NARFE Convention in Mankato, May 20-24, 2012.
