Police received a report Thursday that an unknown amount of people entered LKQ salvage auto yard at 21647 785th Ave. east of Albert Lea through a hole in the fence and removed several catalytic converters. Extra patrol was requested.

 

Man arrested on warrant

Tyree Lavertt Williams, 19, was arrested on a Freeborn County warrant at about 6:15 p.m. Thursday in the 600 block of Ruble Avenue in Albert Lea. A homeowner had locked up his home earlier in the day. A neighbor called police telling them several men were inside the home and no one should be there.

 

Skateboarders abuse road gear

Three boys with skateboards walking on Clark Street at about 10:20 p.m. Thursday had yellow sleeves from a parking barricade and were hitting things with them. Police were unable to locate.
