PM Report: Three arrested for burglary

Three people were arrested on charges of second-degree burglary Sunday night after they were reportedly found breaking into the old school building at 479 Main St. in Emmons, according to Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office reports.

Deputies responded to the building after a person called dispatchers after seeing a flashlight shining inside of the building. A red Chevy Silverado was reportedly parked on the west side of the building. The incident was called in after 10 p.m.

Arrested were Daniel Arden Smith, Bryce Lloyd Williams and Matthew Howard Humphrey, no ages or addresses listed, according to reports.

 

Teen arrested for DWI

Police arrested Harrison Neal Gjersvik, 19, for driving while intoxicated after dispatchers reportedly received a call of a stalled vehicle west of Minnesota Highway 13 on Sunset Street at 1:52 a.m. Sunday, according to reports.

 

Child bit by dog

A 3-year-old child was reportedly bit by a dog at 7:09 p.m. Thursday at 917 Jefferson Ave., according to reports. The incident was reported to police by a staff member in the emergency room at Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea. No other information was available.

 

Stereo stolen

A car stereo was reported taken from 1123 Frank Hall Drive at 9:12 p.m. Sunday, according to reports. Reports indicated the stereo was taken sometime between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. the same day.

 

Car egged

A car was reportedly egged while driving near 1025 S. Broadway Ave. at 10:58 p.m. Thursday, reports stated.
