This is the season of giving.

We know times are tight for many, but if you can give, please do. The Salvation Army and the United Way do necessary charitable work and support other organizations that do the most good for the ones who need it. Churches throughout the community and their charitable networks also do wonderful good for many.

Not everyone has been given the same advantages in life. Not everyone is fortunate enough to have steady employment. Not everyone knows exactly how to get ahead.

Let’s help our fellow humans on this journey of life. Don’t say Christmas is a humbug. Don’t be a Scrooge. Do be a good soul.
