Police stated Clark was going south on Washington Avenue when she failed to yield to 16-year-old Wesley Raymond Hanna, who was headed east on Main Street. Hanna could not stop in time before crashing into Clarks’s vehicle.

He was attempting to get his driver’s license and was accompanied by an instructor.

Albert Lea Police Lt. J.D. Carlson said Clark will likely be cited.

Both vehicles were towed.
