Virginia had lived in Albert Lea for over 35 years. She enjoyed swimming (she took care of her own pool in her backyard) and lawn work. Her yard was always neatly mowed and trimmed. She was also a very charitable person. Virginia’s real love was playing golf. She won many tournaments at Green Lea Golf Course over the years, and one of her highlights was playing a round with professional Patty Berg.

Virginia is survived by her brother Bruce Lindbeck and sisters Lois Gfrerer (John), Harriet Brunjes (Lenny), and Margaret Sandberg (Jim). Other siblings, nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Carl, two brothers and two sisters.

Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers to the donor’s choice.
