Memorial services for Ann Marie Cecelia Dockwell, age 80, of Albert Lea, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 9, 2012, at Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev. Curtis Zieske will officiate. Interment will be at Hayward Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church. Ann Dockwell

Ann died Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012, at the Good Samaritan Society.

Anna Marie Cecelia Dockwell was born on Jan. 1, 1932, in Albert Lea the daughter of John and Hildegarde (Magelssen) Frydenlund. She attended rural school and graduated from Albert Lea High School. Ann was united in marriage to Elmer Dockwell on Nov. 15, 1953, at Hayward Lutheran Church. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Ann worked at Freeborn Funeral Home, Herberger’s and Fleet Farm Supply. Ann loved being outdoors camping and especially fishing with her grandsons. Planting flowers, writing, crocheting, sewing and genealogy were part of the many things she enjoyed doing. Ann’s love for family, sense of humor and giving spirit will be missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include her daughter Alice and her husband Rick Jackson; grandsons Chris and his wife Mindy Jackson and Matt Jackson; one great-granddaughter Abigail Jackson; sisters-in-law Maurine Frydenlund, Shirley Frydenlund, Helen Dockwell and Marvel Dockwell; many nieces and nephews and a large extended family.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Elmer; her mother and father-in-law; brothers Joel, Freeman, Robert, David and Harold; sisters-in-law Bobbie, Rose and Marion Frydenlund; brothers-in-law Harry and Vernon Dockwell; nephew Robert; and niece Marie.
