Four Glenville-Emmons Elementary students were chosen as “Student of the Quarter” for the first quarter. Each student received an Applebee’s coupon for a free kid’s meal.

The Glenville Legion Post No. 264 and Emmons Legion Post No. 317 honored Lisa Durby, a fifth-grade teacher at Glenville-Emmons Elementary, during American Education Week. Pictured are Lisa Durby and Laverne Walheim, who represented the two Legion Posts. The school would like to thank Glenville and Emmons Legions for helping G-E celebrate American Education Week.

The Glenville-Emmons Elementary band participated in the annual Christmas concert held Dec. 12. Everyone enjoyed listening to the Christmas pieces they played.

\Skyler Cosens dressed as Frosty the Snowman in the Glenville-Emmons Elementary School Christmas Concert. Frosty led the students through the streets of town as they sang the popular rendition of the holiday song.

Glenville-Emmons sixth-grade students recently learned how to swing dance in physical education. The class enjoyed it, so they danced to “Jingle Bell Rock” at the G-E Elementary Christmas concert on Dec. 12. Pictured are Ally Johnson and Anthony Rasmusson as they showed the audience what they learned.
