I am curious as to how people who need help from the Salvation Army, Semcac and Freeborn County Human Services get needed help. They told my daughter they could not help her to pay rent even though she is being evicted. She is trying to provide for herself and four children. She works two jobs, but pay is not enough especially at Christmas time.

Who is getting help and how do people get in the system?

The Salvation Army sends me requests for donations that they say helps families in need to pay rent, utilities, food, etc.
