One of the first sights visitors to Minnesota see when entering the state while northbound on Interstate 35 is Round Prairie Lutheran Church, which stands out like a billboard as the freeway curves left. The church invokes thoughts of the state’s Lutheran heritage and of the beauty of rural America. Round Prairie, too, is a pretty name and a reminder of how rich the pioneers viewed this land in Freeborn County.
