Ninteen-year old guitar-slinger Trent Romens is captivating audiences with his electrifying stage presence and deeply personal guitar-playing style.

“Aware, Romen’s debut release showcases a songwriting maturity that moved Grammy Award-winning songwriter Kevin Bowe to proclaim, “I hear strong, soulful vocals – much cooler than the radio,” according to a news release.

Bruce McCabe (writer of Jonny Lang’s “Lie to Me”) said, “A great young guitar player has arrived. He can play fast but has enough soul to play ‘Key to the Highway’ and sound like he means it.”

Romens will be playing at the Lighthouse Event Center in Albert Lea on Jan. 28. The night will feature the virtuosic guitarist with his band.
