4 men arrested for drug possession

Police reports say David Michael Hurst, 42, was found in violation of probation for fifth-degree drug possession at midnight Friday at 23873 740th Ave., Albert Lea. Three other men were arrested during the same probation check.

Lavern Otto Ali, 48, was arrested for fifth-degree drug possession, Chad Alan Roberts, 45, was arrested for fifth-degree possession and paraphernalia and Thomas Edward Lawson, 47, was arrested for fifth-degree possession, according to reports.

Two others were arrested during a probation check. Matt John Peterson, 37, was arrested 10:17 p.m. Friday after a probation check at 719 Sheridan St. Jayne Irene Stout-Manuel, 38, was also found in violation of probation.

 

4 men arrested for DWI

Police reports say Daniel Curtis Anderson, 29, was arrested at 2:35 a.m. Friday for third-degree driving while intoxicated and an open bottle violation after reportedly leaving Diamond Jo Casino.

Brandon David Loyd, 27, was arrested at 9:21 p.m. Saturday for second-degree driving while intoxicated, vehicle seizure, domestic assault, fifth-degree possession and possession of paraphernalia, according to reports.

The reports say Cory Craig Bailey, 29, was arrested for DWI on Interstate 35 at 12:30 a.m. today, and the reports say Dustin John Petersen, 30, was arrested for second-degree DWI at 12:32 a.m. on County Road 25.

 

Man arrested on warrant

Mario Azompa Lopez, 26, was arrested by the Albert Lea Police Department at 3:38 p.m. Saturday at 2510 Bridge Ave. for a local warrant, according to police reports.

 

Hit-and-run reported

A parked silver Ford Explorer was hit at 1 p.m. on Friday at 901 Luther Place in what authorities deemed a hit-and-run.

 

Suspect found in New Richland

A hit-and-run was reported at 411 Broadway in Hartland, at 10:30 p.m. Friday at Hartland University. The suspect was located in New Richland. The suspect’s name and other details were unavailable in the Freeborn County sheriff’s report.

 

Stolen card used

Police reports say a debit card stolen from a vehicle was used in Albert Lea at 9:56 a.m. Friday.
