Man arrested for DWI

Daniel Anderson, was arrested for third-degree DWI and open bottle citations at 2:35 a.m. on Interstate 35 northbound by a deputy with the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office. The Worth County Sheriff’s Office had advised that the man was kicked out of Diamond Jo Casino and said he was waiting for a ride and then left in a white truck, according to reports.

He reportedly tested for a blood-alcohol level of .25.

Man cited during traffic stop

Dustin Lynch was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop at 1705 South Shore Drive at 10:45 p.m. Thursday.

 

Food taken from Knights Inn

Albert Lea Police Department reports state $11,000 in steaks and seafood was stolen from a delivery truck at Knights Inn Wednesday evening.

 

Theft from car reported

A car was broken into and items reported missing at the Albert Lea Eagles parking lot at 10:16 a.m. Thursday.

 

Man treated and released after crash

Josh Manggaard was treated and released from Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea after a crash at 770th Avenue and 325th Street near Ellendale at 5 a.m. Thursday.
