Upcoming outdoors events are:

Saturday: Cabela’s kids ice fishing day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Members are needed to help.

Saturday, Feb. 25: Keep this day open. Our first chapter Bait Makers Expo and lure swap will be held at the Eagles Club in Owatonna. You may find something different or a hard to find lure you have been looking for. The event is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and adult admission is $3.

Our regular meetings are on the second Wednesday of each month. Anyone interested in musky fishing is always welcome. Check our website for more info at www.michapter54.com. You don’t need to be a member to attend. Please bring a friend and help us improve musky fishing in southern Minnesota.

Until next time, play safe, watch out for thin ice, good fishing and enjoy the Minnesota outdoors experience.

Please remember to keep our troops in your thoughts and prayers during the holidays and the coming year. They are the reason we are able to enjoy all the freedoms that we have today.
