N. Minneapolis shooting leaves 1 man dead

MINNEAPOLIS — Police are investigating a shooting in north Minneapolis that left one man dead.
Police spokesman Sgt. Stephen McCarty says officers responded to a report of a shooting at a residence just before 10:30 p.m. Saturday. They arrived to find a man with an apparent gunshot wound to his upper body. He died about 1 a.m. Sunday at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale.
His name and cause of death have not been released.
Several people were at the scene, and officers detained them until investigators arrived, but there were no immediate arrests.
