We notice the difference in behavior among student bodies at sports contests. On the whole, we notice the schools that still have cheerleaders sure seem to have good sports in their student section. There is one chant in particular that some student sections make these days that is disconcerting. It is chanted at the refs and starts with a B. It is usually chanted when a school doesn’t have cheerleaders. We’ve noticed that the schools with cheerleaders tend not to make the chant. Students from one school in particular from the Rochester area, lacking in cheerleaders, seem to revel in the chant. Above are the New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva High School cheerleaders. That school’s fans never make that awful chant, even when calls are clearly blown. The NRHEG fans and students deserve a good sportsmanship award. They are a class act.
