Teeth found in building

Human teeth were reported found in the old St. Paul Clothier building, 244 S. Broadway Ave., at 10:42 a.m. Monday. The building is undergoing renovations.

Albert Lea Police Lt. Jeff Strom said he did not believe there was any indication the teeth were tied to anything criminal in nature.

Copper antenna stolen

A 200-pound copper antenna was reported stolen from 82782 180th St., south of Hayward, at 4:47 p.m. Monday. The antenna had reportedly been stolen sometime since Dec. 28.

 

Man cited for marijuana

Police cited Brandon Lee Ramirez for possession of a small amount of marijuana at the Where it Matters bar, 1119 S. Broadway Ave., at 11:58 p.m. Monday.

Just after midnight, police also reportedly found multiple drug paraphernalia items on the floor, along with a paperclip with burnt marijuana residue in the back employee area.

 

Cars damaged

Damage was reported to a vehicle at 316 Main Court at 8:42 a.m. Monday, police stated.

Damage was reported to a vehicle at 522 W. College St. at 12:25 p.m. Monday, according to police.

A hole was reported punched in the gas tank of a van at 10:34 a.m. Monday at 2301 E. Main St., police stated.

 

Discs taken

Two boxes of disc golf discs were reported stolen Sunday afternoon from the parking lot at Bancroft Bay Park. A window was busted out of the back of a minivan. Police stated the incident was reported at 3:06 p.m. Monday.

 

Cell phone taken

A black Android cell phone was reportedly taken from a shopping cart Monday while the phone’s owner was shopping at Walmart, according to police.

 

License plate stolen

A license plate was reported stolen from a vehicle at 223 E. Third St. at 8:37 a.m. Monday, according to police.
