Effective Friday morning, all restrictions on permit burning have been lifted for all of Freeborn County.

Permit holders wishing to burn are now allowed to do so with proper notification to law enforcement, according to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office.

The forecast calling for additional moisture and reduced wind speeds is the reason the restrictions are lifted.
