A 73-year-old Ellendale woman, Doris Sletten, suffered injuries that were not life-threatening during a three-car crash Thursday afternoon on Highway 30 west of Interstate 35.

Sletten was driving a 1996 Buick LeSabre, and 58-year-old Valerie Schember, of Ellendale, was driving a 1998 Cadillac Seville. Both women were headed east on Highway 30. The Minnesota State Patrol said Sletten was slowing for a left turn when Schember vehicle hit the rear of the Buick, pushing it into a westbound 2007 Sterling semi truck, driven by 55-year-old Martin Bartel, of Ogilvie. Both Bartel and Schember suffered no apparent injuries, according to the State Patrol.

No alcohol was detected in any of the drivers. The crash occurred around 3:50 p.m. Thursday. Road conditions were reportedly dry.
