Senior Resources’ Family Caregivers Network is sponsoring a free workshop about Alzheimer’s and other dementias from 9 to 11 a.m. April 10 at Mayo Clinic Health System at Health Reach.

Anyone in the community is welcome, along with nurses, social workers and especially those involved in caregiving.

Registered nurse Shelley Wagner, who’s also the senior director at Regina Medical Center’s geriatric behavioral health unit in Hastings, will address two topics. They are the “Three D Approach: Delirium, Dementia and Depression” and “Dealing with Difficult Behaviors.”
