5 Minn. students in spelling bee

MINNEAPOLIS — Five Minnesota students are competing in the National Spelling Bee this week near Washington, D.C.
The Minnesota students include: seventh-graders Emma Greenlee of Mesabi East in Aurora; Elise Stahl, a home-schooled student from Greenfield; Antony Joseph, of Fairmont Junior High; and eighth-graders Roshini Asirvatham, of Friedell Middle School in Rochester; and Matthew Majerle, of Forestview Middle School in Baxter.
A champion will be crowned Thursday night.
