The Area Learning Center students and staff wish to thank all of the people in the community who helped them collect used tennis shoes for the Green Sneakers fundraiser. Four hundred pounds of shoes were collected which helped them earn $200. KATE radio and the Albert Lea Tribune gave the school publicity. Dunham Sports and Tiger City Sports helped collect many pairs of shoes. Students hope you continue to save your used tennis shoes for next year’s collection.
