The Freeborn County Commissioners recently awarded five Freeborn County high school seniors with $500 scholarships. The scholarships were provided by Diamond Jo Casino and each student was presented with an award during the commissioners’ regular board meeting on May 15. Freeborn County Administrator John Kluever said this was the fifth year of the program and based on past success, he is looking forward to a continued partnership with Diamond Jo Casino.
