Mayo Clinic Health System’s Hospice program will hold its 12th annual Friends of Hospice Walk/Run around Albert Lea’s Fountain Lake on June 9.

Registration begins at 7 a.m. at the Freeborn County Fairgrounds, with the walk/run from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. For more information call the Hospice office at 377-6393.

Hospice care focuses on quality of life when a cure is no longer possible. It addresses the total physical, emotional and spiritual needs of individuals, while assisting their loved ones in providing care and support in comfortable, familiar surroundings. Monies raised from the walk/run are used to support bereavement and volunteer services.
