Man cited for indecent exposure

Albert Lea police cited Scott Gordon Clemens, 50, for indecent exposure and disorderly conduct Friday morning after he reportedly flashed his pink thong underwear and bare buttocks at two women at the Trail’s Travel Center, 820 Happy Trails Lane, according to reports. He was released from the Freeborn County jail with the citation.

 

Child’s ear bitten off by dog on Saturday

Half of the ear of an 8-year-old boy was reportedly bit off by a black Labrador Saturday afternoon.

According to police, the dog had gotten loose from 258 S. Pearl St.

Police stated the owner of the dog was outside trying to catch the dog along with her two children. At one point the dog went behind 220 S. Pearl St. and an 8-year-old boy tried to catch the dog but was reportedly bit by the dog.

The child was transported to Rochester, but medical personnel were unable to re-attach the ear.

The dog was taken to the pound.

Police will be meeting with the Albert Lea city attorney today to discuss classifying the dog as a dangerous dog.

The incident reportedly took place at 4:38 p.m. Saturday.

 

2 cited for DWI

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies cited Jon Derek Johnson for third-degree driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop at 2:53 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of 27582 810th Ave., Hollandale, according to reports.

Police cited Amber Lynn Tasker, 32, for third-degree driving while intoxicated, driving after revocation and no proof of insurance after a traffic stop at the 100 block of North Broadway Avenue, according to reports.

Items taken from residence

Items were reported missing from 1603 Todd Ave. at 8:52 p.m. Friday, according to police. Police have are investigating a juvenile suspect.
