The Albert Lea Police Department and Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office are asking the community to join with them in honoring men and women in law enforcement who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

Tuesday is the National Police Officers’ Memorial Day.

The departments are asking people to show their support by lowering their flags to half staff to honor fallen officers.
