The sidewalk on Front Street ends at the Southwest Middle School parking lot. Then there is a short foot path between the lot and a well-marked crosswalk across U.S. Highway 69. The crosswalk even has overhead signs that say “Crosswalk.” It seems strange to have a foot path leading to such a major crosswalk. How much would about 20 feet of concrete cost?
