Supporting the troops

To show military support residents on Vine Avenue in Albert Lea hung some type of ribbon or flag on their trees that lined the street. Albert Lea’s Delta Company of the Minnesota National Guard is scheduled to return today from a year-long deployment to Kuwait. The public is invited to show support at the Albert Lea Armory when soldiers are expected to arrive around noon. -- Danielle Boss/Albert Lea Tribune
