Friday marked the start of a 21-team invitational in Albert Lea hosted by Albert Lea High School boys’ golf.

The invitational lasted two days. The first day was held at Green Lea Golf Club.

The second day the invitational took place at Wedgewood Cove Golf Club.

Albert Lea had two teams in the invite, Albert Lea Cherry and Albert Lea Blue. After day one Albert Lea Cherry was in 14th with a score of 324. Albert Lea Blue was 21st with a score of 363.

Albert Lea Blue was made up of Jacky Pulley, 89, Sam Chalmers, 89, Alex Syverson, 90, Levi Hanson, 95, Dalton Flatness, 95, and Brock Carstens, 97.

Albert Lea Cherry was made up of Brady Falk, 81, Lucas Peterson, 81, Brent Nafzger, 81, Brady Loch, 81, Nate Stadheim, 82, and Adam Syverson, 92.

The leader of day one was Chanhassen High School with a score of 308.
