Burn victim Ralph Yotter underwent surgery this morning, according to his wife, Pat Yotter. He remains listed in critical condition.

Ralph survived a house explosion north of Freeborn last Friday. The explosion was caused by sewage gas.

She said the swelling of his head and neck has gone down and said doctors were wanting to get him into surgery swiftly.

The Yotters are both 75. They have been married for 56 years. They have six grown children, 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
