Burn victim Ralph Yotter remained in critical condition on Wednesday, according to his wife, Pat.

She said he has come through skin-graft surgeries well and a breathing tube was removed Tuesday to let him breathe on his own.

Yotter suffered burns as a result of a house explosion June 8 a mile north of Freeborn. The explosion was caused by sewage gas. He is in Regions Hospital in St. Paul.
