The Freeborn County Genealogical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the Heritage Hall, Freeborn County Historical Museum. Vicki Storlie and Pat Mulso will be presenting a program on transcribing the U.S. 1940 census. The 1940 census will be shown online so one can actually see what information is included and what is being transcribed. The Museum is located at 1031 N. Bridge Ave., Albert Lea. Park on the south side of the Museum building and the Red Building. The public is invited.
