The High Forest rest area on eastbound Interstate 90 will reopen at 1 p.m. today, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

The rest area building and restroom facilities were closed for sidewalk replacement.

The rest area is about three miles west of Stewartville.

MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
