Naeve Hospital Auxiliary – supporting Mayo Clinic Health System – awarded three $750 scholarships to graduating high school seniors in the Albert Lea service area that have selected the medical field as their chosen vocation. These scholarships encourage students interested in health care and give them the opportunity to achieve their goals.

Scholarship recipients include: Sean Laurie, Albert Lea High School, biomedical engineering/pre-med; Matthew Buhr, Albert Lea High School, biological sciences/pre-med; and Ka See Yar, Albert Lea High School, nursing.

Scholarships are provided on the basis of leadership, character and academic ability.
